Publish to Google Street View

One of our most notable features is the Google Maps integration, allowing you to publish your virtual tours directly to Google Street View. This seamless process involves just a few clicks to enhance your online presence significantly.

Benefits of posting to Google Street View

Enhanced Online Visibility

One of the primary benefits of GSV integration is the substantial boost in online visibility it offers. When a business’s virtual tour is available on Google Street View, it becomes accessible to a vast audience of potential customers searching on Google Maps. This increased visibility can significantly impact discovery and local SEO, making it easier for people to find and engage with businesses online.

Immersive Customer Experiences

GSV integration allows for the creation of immersive, interactive experiences that can captivate potential customers. By enabling users to virtually "walk through" a location, businesses can showcase their spaces in unparalleled detail. This level of interaction not only helps in building a connection with the audience but also allows them to explore spaces at their own pace, leading to increased engagement and interest.

Competitive Edge

In a crowded digital marketplace, standing out from the competition is crucial. GSV integration offers businesses a unique way to differentiate themselves. By providing a virtual tour on Google Maps, businesses can highlight their facilities, decor, ambiance, and more, offering potential customers a compelling reason to choose them over competitors.

Trust and Transparency

For consumers, seeing is believing. GSV integration fosters trust by offering an honest, transparent view of a business's physical space. This openness can be particularly beneficial for businesses such as restaurants, hotels, retail stores, and real estate properties, where the layout, condition, and atmosphere of the space play a significant role in the decision-making process.

Convenience and Accessibility

GSV integration makes it more convenient and accessible for potential customers to explore a business without having to visit in person. This can be especially advantageous for individuals who are relocating, planning travel, or simply prefer to research online before making in-person visits. It also opens up access to a wider audience, including those with mobility issues or other constraints that may limit their ability to visit a location physically.

Enhanced Marketing and Advertising Opportunities

For 360 tour photographers, GSV integration represents an expanded service offering that can be marketed to business clients. It enhances their portfolio, showcasing their ability to create detailed, engaging virtual tours that can be directly integrated into Google Maps. This added value can help photographers attract more business clients looking to improve their online presence and engage customers in innovative ways.

In today's digital age, virtual tours have become an indispensable tool for showcasing spaces and experiences in immersive 360-degree views. Recognizing the significance of this innovative marketing strategy, CloudPano offers a cutting-edge feature that seamlessly integrates virtual tours with Google Street View. I'm Zach Calhoun, co-founder of CloudPano, and I'm here to guide you through the exciting capabilities of our Google Street View upload feature.

The Google Maps Integration

One of our most notable features is the Google Maps integration, allowing you to publish your virtual tours directly to Google Street View. This seamless process involves just a few clicks to enhance your online presence significantly. Let me walk you through a typical scenario using an F45 gym to demonstrate the simplicity and effectiveness of this feature.

Step 1: Create Your Virtual Tour

Start by capturing your space with either a 360 camera or our CloudPano mobile app, available for iOS and Android. Once you've captured your 360 photos, upload them to the CloudPano tour editor. It's essential to ensure that these photos are in a two-to-one ratio equirectangular format for optimal compatibility.

Step 2: Setting North Points

For Google Maps integration, setting North points for each photo is crucial. This step ensures that Google can accurately connect your photos, providing a coherent virtual experience for viewers navigating through your space. Simply adjust the orientation of each photo to face North and mark it using the designated icon in the CloudPano editor.

Step 3: Publishing to Google Street View

After setting your North points, the next step is to publish your tour to Google Street View. This process involves authorizing your Google account, associating the tour with a specific Google Maps listing, and ensuring that your photos are correctly connected and labeled. Our updated interface guides you through each step, from authorizing with Google to connecting scenes within your virtual tour.

Final Steps: Review and Publish

Before publishing, review your connections to ensure that each scene is accurately represented and interconnected. Once satisfied, proceed to publish your tour to Google Street View. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours (sometimes longer) for your tour to appear on Google Maps, as the platform requires time to process and link your submitted data.
